The Betterton Volunteer Fire Company has big boots to fill. BVFC is seeking new members to join the department in either Fire, EMS or Administrative positions. Volunteers are needed with various types of knowledge, skills and abilities.

There are numerous benefits to becoming a volunteer in local Fire Departments: Free training for Fire / EMS personnel, County-wide length of service program, State tax deductions, Home buying assistance as well as the personal satisfaction of serving the community and fellowship with Department members.

Return application, preferably by mail, to: 2 Howell Point Road, Betterton, MD 21610

You will have an interview before the membership committee within 30 days of receipt of your application

Attend a company business meeting for vote-in

Once a member, you will serve a 1 year probationary period
