The Betterton Volunteer Fire Company is a volunteer fire and EMS department in Kent County, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The professional volunteers of Betterton provide primary fire and ambulance service to a 53.5 square mile, largely rural area. We also cover 12 miles of busy waterway along the Chesapeake Bay. The station maintains six pieces of fire apparatus, a rescue boat and an Advanced Life Support equipped ambulance. We are always looking for area residents to join our ranks!
